This is my cousin Mike-I am 3 months older than him and I used to take great pleasure in reminding him that I was older and wiser. Now, for some reason, the older part isn't as great as it used to be!

Redondo Beach, CA

For Spring Break, I took the kids to CA to visit my sister, Joleen, who lives by the beach, and my parents who don't! This day was kind of overcast and not too hot, but that didn't stop the kiddos from getting right in the water! What a great day!!

For those of you who know my dad- you know that this picture epitomizes the person he is. He is a huge jokester- and this pic captures the aftermath of him playing a joke on his sister followed by his hysterical laughter...followed by an uncontrollable coughing fit. I've shown this picture to different family members and they all agree. This is the real Scott Grove.

More Dallas Trip

This is from the movie "Zoolander." The look that my dad was trying for is called "Blue Steel" but the fact that my dad's lips have disappeared over the years makes "Blue Steel" hard to pull off. Sorry Dad.

Self Portraits

This is a family tradition...or maybe I just like to do this so I call it a tradition. Whatever- this is what happens when I get a camera in hand. I proceed to take a self portrait and then I convince all those around me to do the same. It is hilarious- you should try it sometime!

Funny Commercial

This last weekend I took a last minute trip to Dallas to see my little sister, Gwen. She and her husband, Jason live in Germany (they're in the Air Force) and were in the States for about a week. Anyhow, one night while we were playing cards we saw the tail end of this commercial and thought it was so funny! I'm not sure if it was the fact that we were giddy to be together that made it seem silly or if we were just extremely tired. You be the judge.
